Terms of Service

Effective date: August 12, 2026.

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and BlackGranite AI Systems governing your use of the EquestrianIQ app and related services. By creating an account or using EquestrianIQ, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be old enough to agree to these terms in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for activity that occurs under your account.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use EquestrianIQ for your own training journal purposes, subject to these terms.

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload content you do not have the right to use, or attempt to compromise the app or its infrastructure.

You retain all rights to the content you enter into EquestrianIQ, including ride logs, notes, images, documents, and audio recordings. You grant us the limited right to process that content to provide and improve the service for you.

EquestrianIQ includes optional AI features such as ride plan suggestions, goal suggestions, and transcription. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate, is provided for reflection and organization only, and is not professional advice. You are responsible for how you use it.

EquestrianIQ is a training journal, not medical, veterinary, training, or safety advice. Riding and working around horses carries inherent risk. Always follow the guidance of qualified coaches, veterinarians, and other professionals in the real world.

EquestrianIQ for iOS offers one auto-renewing subscription: Pro Monthly. Eligible customers may receive a 14-day introductory free trial as determined by Apple; eligibility is not guaranteed. The localized price and billing period shown by the Apple App Store at the time of purchase are authoritative.

After any trial, the subscription renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds for iOS subscriptions are managed through Apple and follow Apple's policies.

Existing web subscriptions may be managed through Whop under the terms presented at the time of purchase.

After paid or complimentary Pro access expires, you may retain read-only access to your existing personal data. Creating, editing, uploads, transcription, AI generation, and other Pro actions require an active entitlement. Your data is not deleted merely because a subscription expires.

Deleting your EquestrianIQ account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Apple subscriptions must be managed through your Apple account settings.

You can stop using EquestrianIQ at any time and can initiate account deletion in the app. Deletion removes or de-identifies your account data, subject to legal and security exceptions described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse of the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlackGranite AI Systems will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated in advance where practical, and the current version will always be available on this page.
